This Sunday 28th of June at 14.00h label Van Markoviec will show its latest summer & new autumn/winter collection during the Awareness Fashion Event in the Eusebius Church in Arnhem.
The Dutch-based label Van Markoviec, founded by fashion designer Kasia Markowska and environmental scientist Zuzia Andziak, is primarily dedicated to women who seek fashionable design, good quality and eco-philosophy. Van Markoviec is known for its elegant and sophisticated daywear lines and easy-to-wear leisure pieces. For each collection Van Markoviec explores new technologies to bring high quality textiles made in a sustainable manner, using among others certified organic cotton, hemp and natural silk dyed with plant pigments. The Awearness Fair Fashion Event in Arnhem, now fashion capital and Holland’s greenest city, will show in an inspiring way that sustainable fashion is beautiful and trendy.
The Awearness Fashion Show is the first fashion show of this magnitude in the Netherlands that contains purely sustainable fashion and is an independent part of the Arnhem Fashion Biennale 2009 program.
